About

An amazing, amazing event.

We've brought together best-selling authors, highly influential agents, and some of the most important publishers in the country. We've got talks, workshops, courses, pitch sessions, and much more.

It's going to be inspiring, instructive - and should be wonderful fun too. Oh, and there'll be lots of Cloudlings there, so a great place to meet too.

All the info you need can be found here: www.festivalofwriting.com

See you there!

Blimey, we have to be clean and un-pongy? That'sa bit of a curved ball. I'll need to check the terms and conditions - you can't move the goalposts after we're signed up, you know. I thought that brushing my hair would be enough.

Harry - 'encouraging anyone who likes dressing up'? Now that may have opened the floodgates. Today my 3 year old - a big Mama Mia fan - was dressing me up as 'one of the boys from when they do Waterloo at the end.' That involved two of her frilly dressing up skirts (one on each arm), a variety of 'scarves', and a pink cowgirl hat. If I'd taken a photo I'd post it for you. ;)

Although if you really want to know the dress code, then it's anywhere north of dressing gown and south of white tie. We are, however, encouraging anyone who likes dressing up a bit to do so on the Saturday evening. Though by the sounds of the discussion below, I'll happily settle for anyone who comes along vaguely clean and un-pongy ...
