So now we all know Matt Smith is the new Doctor, but what do you
guys think of him? Will he live up to the brilliance of David
Tennant?

I think he'll be even more quirky and bizarre, I've watched a
couple of interviews with him and he seems like he has a
hyperactivity disorder - he just can't sit still. And his hands are
continously moving. But time will tell :)

From what I've seen he seems to switch from an intensity that is
alien-like and quite scary, to being very polite and downright
pleasant. I think he'll definitely be interesting.

I'm fully prepared for him to be better than David Tennant. I loved
Chris Ecclestone when he was the Doctor and was gutted when he
left. Then of course, Tennant was brilliant and I forgot all about
... um, what was his name? Anyway, I have high hopes for Matt
Smith!

I think we should reserve judgement until he's gotten through at
least three episodes, it takes that long to get a feel for someone.
Yeah I thought the Geronimo thing was a bit much but then in the
first episode he only said it once so maybe it's not a catch phrase
it was just a line from the trailer.

I love the guy, definatly think he's got teh old person thing about
him. not teh wise ancient aura that old people give off, but the
wierd excentric believes that they have like spending pennies when
they should be weeing in the toliet.
But great episode 2. And I am in awe of Amy - wow :)
