by ColinTW 5 months agoI think I may have figured out the problem with this group, NN. Does anyone actually know what sort of support they're looking for, or might be able to give? I have no idea. I think I might go for 'Forget 'em, they're all talentless bastards anyway.' This is a useful 'catch all' and can refer to almost anyone - agents, publishers, men in general, women in general, award winning writers, traffic warders... take your pick. -
by norman normington 6 months agoOh yes! why aint I got no friends, is it the pie? I get told by my OH that I intimidate people, but like our dog I just look bad! Is that It?
Or do I need to go out and be nice to people? Surely not! -
by norman normington 6 months agoI rather foolishly maybe ended up splitting a book was writing into two! Plots and sub plots had become so dense it was strangulating itself!
Possibly more involved than the Simarilion!
Added to that I ended up writing just for fun a tough guy type cops thing which is now taking over...so anyone here know how I can focus on one at least rather than faffing about with three at the same time! -
