Great to see you back Joey, you've been missed. Sorry to hear you have had ill health. I think you will find things on here haven't changed that much. Faces come and go, but the stalwarts remain, with some new stalwarts, but I'll leave you to meet ...

Whoa. It's been a really long time since I spent any time on the Cloud and it feels so surreal. Between illness and catching up on schoolwork i just haven't had the chance. Plenty has happened, little of interest and writing is the same old same old ...

About

"Small, green eyes, usually holding a large mug of tea."

This was all I'd written for a long time on the Cloud, until I'd found my feet. To be honest though it is true. ;D
I've been writing since I learnt how, which was actually around age eight because I'm pretty dyslexic. It took me about four years to really learn to function properly with dyslexia and stop it from taking away from my school work.
I'm an amateur actress and singer. I've been in a few small shows around Dublin. I speak fluent Irish and some day when I have more time I'm going to write some interesting books for teens 'as Gaeilge' instead of the typical ones about farming or misery or both. :D
I've always been into politics and help out at various protests around town, like anti-war, Gay rights or against cuts to Social Welfare, stuff like that. I also work a bit with homeless people and plan on doing more of that after school.
I've got about seven books on the go, three of which are finished in their first drafts. I'm a vegatarian eco-warrior with an interest in mythology and that's about it! Love, peace, rock 'n' roll and all that jazz.

Hi! And thanks for the greeting! :) It's great to find a place with so many like-minded people. Nice to know someone else who's a fan of fantasy and SF too, who also like P&P lol! (I think we're few and far between. ;)

Rofl, yes! Reality stinks at times xD Although a small amount of realism is needed in fantasy for it to make sense (No point in having a story that has no flow behind it! =P) But to take a bit of a quote, "Sometimes it's hard to sleep because reality becomes better than your dreams." Haven't reached that yet but hey =P
