About
Trying to be a writer after working like a dog for some years (in order to be able to stop working early :-) ) but not really dedicated enough as yet. So much to do, so little time!! Love good food, good wine and good friends. I like to cook and can usually rustle up something quite acceptable.
(flushes at such immodesty!)
Can often be found wading a lively river in the Yorkshire Dales, flyfishing for trout, never forgetting what a joy it is to be in such a wonderful place. I tie my own flies and tend to specialise in the old "northern" patterns, some of which have been around for centuries. I guess I'm a romantic and thats just a symptom.
I think my friends would say I'm whole hearted and passionate in pretty much everything I do, for good or bad. I certainly don't do moderation particularly well, in anything!
Could go on but don't want to be a bore!! (ever!!)

by Polly 4 months agoHi. Just wandering around as I've just joined. I will read your blog post shortly - but is it just me that has part of the righ margin missing due to being overlayed by the right photo column? I find I miss part of what everyone puts.

by maryluv 6 months agoGoulash or whiplash, Impy? Whatever you do with that wooden spoon, make sure you give it a good clean before showing it off.

by SecretSpi 6 months agoIt's "The Hero with a thousand faces". On the whole, I'd recommend although reading it is proving a bit of an heroic struggle in itself. I have read a fair bit of Jung which makes it slightly easier. Haven't found any imps in it as yet. Or spies.

by maryluv 6 months agoYou didn't seem to be struggling too much as they carried you away, anyhow! No wonder you've been quiet for a while. Recuperating, no doubt. And as for your teeny weeny towel, it was barely covering the truth so no loss there.

by maryluv 6 months agoYou're so wise - all those Imp years count for something, then! Btw, you dropped your towel...

by maryluv 6 months agoI was there, Impy! Hiding under the bench. You can see everything from down there. You most definitely were not acting in a restrained manner.

by maryluv 6 months agoForgot to ask - would you mind sending said articles back to me? It's pretty expensive stuff - as you can see, I only wear the best.
My muse thanks you for the gentle treatment. She may pop back to visit again. -
by Weens 6 months agoI really enjoyed it. I wish I had started on level 2 as I already knew the material covered in level 1, although I did pick up one or two very useful bits of information. Level 2 doesn't start till October, so I am going to concentrate on short stories and editing my book until then. I keep saying this, but never do anything but come on the cloud to talk to people. I am going to have to be a little stricter with myself.
