Goulash or whiplash, Impy? Whatever you do with that wooden spoon, make sure you give it a good clean before showing it off.

It's "The Hero with a thousand faces". On the whole, I'd recommend although reading it is proving a bit of an heroic struggle in itself. I have read a fair bit of Jung which makes it slightly easier. Haven't found any imps in it as yet. Or spies.

You didn't seem to be struggling too much as they carried you away, anyhow! No wonder you've been quiet for a while. Recuperating, no doubt. And as for your teeny weeny towel, it was barely covering the truth so no loss there.

I was there, Impy! Hiding under the bench. You can see everything from down there. You most definitely were not acting in a restrained manner.

Forgot to ask - would you mind sending said articles back to me? It's pretty expensive stuff - as you can see, I only wear the best. My muse thanks you for the gentle treatment. She may pop back to visit again.

About

Trying to be a writer after working like a dog for some years (in order to be able to stop working early :-) ) but not really dedicated enough as yet. So much to do, so little time!! Love good food, good wine and good friends. I like to cook and can usually rustle up something quite acceptable.

(flushes at such immodesty!)

Can often be found wading a lively river in the Yorkshire Dales, flyfishing for trout, never forgetting what a joy it is to be in such a wonderful place. I tie my own flies and tend to specialise in the old "northern" patterns, some of which have been around for centuries. I guess I'm a romantic and thats just a symptom.

I think my friends would say I'm whole hearted and passionate in pretty much everything I do, for good or bad. I certainly don't do moderation particularly well, in anything!

Could go on but don't want to be a bore!! (ever!!)

I really enjoyed it. I wish I had started on level 2 as I already knew the material covered in level 1, although I did pick up one or two very useful bits of information. Level 2 doesn't start till October, so I am going to concentrate on short stories and editing my book until then. I keep saying this, but never do anything but come on the cloud to talk to people. I am going to have to be a little stricter with myself.

Here are the links for OU creative writing courses, level 1 and level 2.
    level 1 http://www3.open.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/course/a174.htm
    level 2 http://www.open.ac.uk/Arts/a215/index.html

At this rate we should ask for a 'cloud class' and discount.

Impy! You've cheered up! dos it have anything to do with the all-nighter you pulled withe the ex? You naughty Imp, you! Hope you shared the currants with her.

You've found my muse! Fantastic! I must have dropped it when I popped around to chat to your ex. She told me many interesting Imp facts and I'll be blogging them shortly.

Ahem. The articles of clothing may be mine. Well, it was hot down there. The mug...don't recall bringing him with me. I should just give him his bus fare and send him home.

Anyways, I'm glad you're Happy Imp again.
