Are you a ...?Unpublished writer (so far)What genre do you primarily write in?General fictionIf you write in more than one area, what is your next most favoured genre?CrimeAre your reading habits ...?OmnivorousAnd your seven all time favourite books? (You can change these at any time, by the way ...)On the spot? Only one I can think of is Room at the Top by John Braine. Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde's alright too. And I liked Harry Potter in my younger days. What are your working habits when you write?ProcastinatoryAre you the edit-every-sentence-ten-times type, or do you prefer to let rip?Prefer to let rip and edit afterwardsYour ultimate writing ambition? To get my book published, for it to be successful and for me to write several sequels to it. And world domination would be a helpful bonus.Your worst habit?I get overconfident and make a myriad of stupid mistakesYour opinion on the books industry?I deeply respect the good folk of publishingWhere do you write? In a wood near where I live, which provided the inspiration for Burdock Woods in my book.

About
Ummm. Well. I'm seventeen. I'm doing four A-levels at Falmouth Sixth Form: Maths, Further Maths, Biology, and Chemistry. I'm quite tall, I've done tae kwon do for nearly three years now-I'm not especially good, but it doesn't stop everyone at sixth form being terrified of me. I am proud to say that I have no friends. And believe me, if you went to the same sixth form as me, you would know why. Apparently I intimidate people, maniacally laugh in my sleep, and only ever talk about martial arts and how to kill people with whatever is closest to me at the time. Pencils, for example. Very underated as a weapon, your average pencil, but, with care, one can stab it right through someones eye or nostril and into thier brain. Marvellous. I look big and tough and nasty and I tend to shout at people, but despite all of this I'm actually quite a nice person, and I like cuddling and flowers and sunsets and things. I particularly like going down to Budock Woods, near where I live, and writing. It's a beautiful place, it really is.
Oh yeah, and my music taste is... Well... Different. My list of favourite bands/musicians:
Metallica
Apocalyptica
Machine Head
Queen
Duran Duran
X-fusion
Cradle of Filth
Adema
Mozart
Bach
Beethoven
Some girl I used to know-my god that girl could sing!
Arch Enemy
Chimaira
Brocas Helm
Iron Maiden
Disturbed
Dimmu Borgir
Dragonforce (Kind of, I only like a couple of thier songs.)
Within Temptation
Lacuna Coil
Nightwish-Only old nightwish though, the new singer I do not like, though I'm sure she's a wonderful person.
David Bowie
Nox Arcana (Who I just adore. End. Of.)
These are not in any kind of order, apart from that Metallica has to be at the top, because they are a legend!
List of hated genres:
Emo
Screamo
Rap
Techno (apart from dark techno, such as X-Fusion)
Any bizarre rock/rap crossover such as Limp Bizkit.
Alternate Rock (I think. I haven't really heard that much of it.)
Modern Pop music, after the eighties it's all just cack.

by LoveLiveLearn 3 months agoI have to admit that I ahve read the Twilight books but it was years ago before the film and when no one had any idea what it was and I think it's just got soooo overproduced! But enough about that! :) I'm grand! A little stressed with all the moving and stuff but I'm good! What about you?
