  Your ultimate writing ambition?
  To live the dream. Write for a living in some small, secluded cottage on some Outer Hebridian isle (wearing an Aran sweater and bobble hat...)
  Your worst habit?
  Writing habit? Changing my character voice according to my mood. Happy whan I'm feeling good and so on. Non-writing? Telling people what I REALLY think when I've drunk too much.
  Your opinion on the books industry?
  Too much celebrity and hype, but good books still get through
